Margaret McKenna Wins 2004 "Women on the Move" Award

MARGARET MCKENNA WINS YWCA WOMEN ON THE MOVE AWARD!
That’s right, our very own Margaret McKenna, president of the Barrio Hollywood Neighborhood Association was chosen as one of the YWCA’s Women On The Move for 2004. In total there were 89 women nominated for this award, which honors community leadership. Margaret was one of twelve women who won. In the photo above Margaret McKenna displays her award with Tucson Mayor Bob Walkup, her niece Palomita McKenna, and the Mayor of Marana. Margaret was specially recognized for her twenty years as president of BHNA, and all her accomplishments in the neighborhood. Congratulations Margaret, you rock!
